The third planet from the sun
A small blue ball spinning
For a moment in time
An extraordinary place
That was kind enough to
Provide the elements necessary
To support a phenomenon called life
Where every creature is so unique
When this world
Call home
And the day begins the same way
for all
Perhaps at this point that
Go through your head
The warmth of a sunbeam
A kindness of a stranger
And you realize how one life touches
So many others and you begin to see
As all things are connected
As the blood which unites one family
and you realize that humanity
Do not weave the web of life
We are merely a strand in it
Whatever we make the network
We do ourselves

Long time ago
Before the first human birth
Before the first tree starting to sprout
His life began
It breathes and grows,
His blood flows through your veins
She says what she thinks,
And she feels pain
She feeds us when we are hungry
It heals us when we get sick
She has the power to give us energy
And the power to make us smile
It is not something
It is the land
And there's a reason to call the
mother
Every day nineteen species
Disappear from the earth forever
But there is hope
We have one planet
We have only one chance
Our mother needs our help
